Staff / Senior/ Automation Engineer

We are seeking a proactive and analytical Automation Engineer to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be pivotal in ensuring the stability and performance of our manufacturing automation systems and equipment. You will leverage data-driven insights to drive root-cause analysis, optimize equipment utilization, and lead the rollout of advanced automation technologies from Proof of Concept (PoC) to full production.

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Responsible for manufacturing Automation System and Equipment’s Stability and Performance Improvement
• Perform root-cause analysis and drive Equipment improvements to achieve target utilization & uptime
• Conduct data analysis and develop data driven solutions to resolve daily challenges and improve operation performance
• Manage system and equipment’s preventive maintenance program
• Support cross functional projects through PoC to production roll-out to enable advanced automation into operation

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronic/Electrical Engineering/related fields
• Min. 1-3 years working experience in Robotics/manufacturing automation systems/equipment
• Hands-on experience in robotic, autonomous mobile robot, overhead transportation and automation systems is highly preferred
• Knowledge in programming, preferably Python to analyze data will be an added advantage
• Knowledge in Data visualization tool, e.g. Tableau is preferred
• Experience in cross-functional projects collaboration will be an advantage
• A self-driven individual with strong analytical ability & problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work independently yet a strong team player in a global setup.
