Your role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Develop, debug, and maintain A93K test programs in SmarTest 7, including test methods, levels, timing, specifications, equations, limits, and test flows.
- Create modular test methods and measurement algorithms using C++, implementing data processing and limit-validation routines.
- Lead silicon bring-up, characterization, bench-to-ATE correlation, production release, test coverage improvement, robustness enhancement, and test-time reduction.
- Design and validate mixed-signal loadboards; troubleshoot hardware/software issues using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and ATE diagnostics.
- Implement multi-site and parallel-test strategies to increase high-volume manufacturing throughput.
- Analyze characterization and production data to identify yield and quality opportunities; automate engineering workflows and generate correlation, yield, and customer-facing test reports.
- Collaborate with Design Engineering on test requirements and DFT, with Product Engineering on manufacturing optimization, and with Applications/Marketing on product evaluations.
Your profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in semiconductor test development, with strong hands-on knowledge of Advantest 93000 and SmarTest.
- Proficiency in Java, C++, or another object-oriented language, plus familiarity with software version control.
- Solid semiconductor measurement knowledge and mixed-signal experience with ADCs, DACs, MEMS sensors, and digital communication interfaces.
- Working knowledge of sampling theory, Nyquist criteria, FFT/DFT, FIR/IIR filtering, SNR, THD, and frequency response analysis.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a sense of ownership for the product.
- A drive for independent learning
Preferred Qualifcations
- High-volume manufacturing experience.
- Testing of MEMS sensors, silicon microphones, audio products, or mixed-signal ICs.
- Experience using data analysis tools to perform data exploration, statistical analysis, process optimization, and data-driven decision-making.
- Mandarin capability is an added advantage for collaboration with manufacturing partners in China.
