Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Understand data strategy & data flow of Greater China digital Go to Market ecosystem, enable and sustain 360 Customer profile for marketing automation & Leads management.
• Responsible for leading and advancing the WeChat ecosystem development projects, including business requirements analysis, data definition, supporting data architecture design, cross‑team technical communication and issue trouble shooting, platform‑level data analysis and mining, as well as organizing data reviews and driving next‑step business actions based on data insights.
• Design and implement robust data governance frameworks to ensure data integrity, quality, and consistency across the organization.
• Implement and optimize SQL queries or sync job for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to support web analytics initiatives.
• Oversee data integration efforts, ensuring seamless connections between global data sources and systems.
• Utilize Python, SQL and PySpark to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for web data processing and analysis.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in web analytics, data engineering, and data science to drive continuous improvement in data processing and analysis.
• Work closely with analyst function to ensure data is readily available and actionable for decision-making.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, marketing, communication, etc., to align data initiatives with organizational goals.

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3-6 years of relevant industry experience in either data engineering, business intelligence, data science, or related field with experience in manipulating, processing, and extracting value from complex data sets.
• Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills are essential requirements.
• Strong business understanding on managing marketing-related data, with additional experience in the WeChat ecosystem being a plus.
• Familiarity with large language models and prompt engineering, as well as experience integrating with related frameworks, is a strong plus.
• Proven experience in driving projects from 0 to 1, with the ability to independently lead execution and resolve issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Proven experience as a data management specialist or in a similar role & practical experience with sql DB, no-sql DB and Big data.
• Understanding of basic IT knowledge, including familiarity with web page structure and user behavior tracking, etc.
• Have independent experience in completing end-to-end requirements analysis to project delivery
• Technical Skills: Hadoop, Python, PySpark, SQL, Tableau
• Experience working with large and complex data sets, including dataware housing and ETL processes.
• Data expertise to manipulate and integrate big data and different data types such as text, tables, and Documents (pdf, Xlsx, CSV) using Python, and PySpark.
• Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively advocate technical solutions to Data scientists, Reporting teams and business audiences, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of business intelligence and data visualization principles
