Staff Supervisor, Production is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, delivery, and cost efficiency. This role leads production teams, optimizes the utilization of manpower and resources, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and productivity.


Your role
Key responsibilities in your new role

  • Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets, output, and delivery schedules are achieved efficiently.
  • Monitor production performance and ensure adherence to production plans, quality standards, and operational requirements.
  • Manage manpower, equipment, and material allocation to maximize productivity and resource utilization.
  • Ensure smooth shift operations by minimizing production disruptions and resolving operational issues promptly.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate production operators and technicians to achieve performance and productivity goals.
  • Conduct daily shift briefings to communicate production priorities, safety requirements, and operational updates.
  • Monitor employee performance and support workforce development through regular feedback, training, and skill enhancement programs.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, quality, delivery performance, operational efficiency, and cost effectiveness.


Your profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably with supervisory or team leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, production planning, and continuous/process improvement methodologies.
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and production reporting systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong understanding of safety, quality, and operational excellence standards.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, optimize resources, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to achieve production targets.
