Your Role
As a Tax Specialist, you will be responsible for tax compliance activities, financial analyses, and the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports and closings. You will support and coordinate internal and external tax-related process improvements while ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations and internal controls. You will contribute to transfer pricing documentation and collaborate with global stakeholders on tax-related matters. In addition, you will participate in internal and external audits and provide expert tax support across the organization.
Key responsibilities in your new role- Perform taxation activities and financial analyses.
- Perform the monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports and closings.
- Coordinate and support internal and external Tax and Statutory process changes.
- Be up to date about tax information on local and international tax rules.
- Ensure the internal tax controls are applied.
- Contribute to the preparation of transfer price documents.
- Cooperate with other Infineon sites on tax issues.
- Take part in internal and external audits.
Your Profile
You are a detail-oriented professional with a strong sense of responsibility and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work. You have excellent organizational skills and can effectively prioritize tasks while meeting tight deadlines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills enable you to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and support complex tax-related processes. You are eager to learn, stay up to date with regulatory changes, and continuously improve ways of working.
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- A University or College Degree in a relevant field (Finance, Economics, Taxes, Accounting).
- 3+ years of experience in Taxation (VAT and Corporate Tax).
- Intermediate level in English.
- Knowledge on Hungarian tax rules. Ability to read documents in Hungarian.
- IFRS qualified accountant qualification would be an advantage.
- A register as tax adviser or register as accountant (would be a great advantage).
- Knowledge of integrated systems (SAP) is a plus.
