Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
As a Technical Consultant for ServiceNow Procurement & Mobility, you are part of an international team, advancing our ServiceNow platform while ensuring stable, compliant operations. Acting as interface between procurement stakeholders, you will translate business requirements into robust, scalable solutions and seamless integrations.
- Understand, analyze and translate procurement business requirements into scalable ServiceNow solution designs and manage and prioritize the backlog with stakeholders
- Configure and implement functionalities using e.g. Flow Designer, workflows, forms, UI policies, business rules, notifications, approvals and catalog items, delivering continuous improvement and user experience optimization
- Plan and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, release planning, and go-lives, ensuring changes comply with governance, security and audit requirements
- Provide 2nd/3rd level support for ServiceNow Procurement, troubleshooting end-to-end issues (data, permissions, workflows, integrations, performance) and driving root-cause analysis with preventive actions, monitoring and alerting improvements
- Apply platform standards and environment strategy (naming conventions, update sets, versioning, …), ensuring clear functional/technical documentation and runbooks
- Collaborate with integration teams to connect ServiceNow with the procurement ecosystem (ERP, vendor master data, approval directories, reporting) and resolve interface issues (APIs, data mappings, transformations) with full traceability and auditability
- Continually educate yourself and complete certifications related to ServiceNow business

- A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience with ServiceNow, including implementation and/or operations roles
- Familiarity with configuration and delivery practices (Update Sets, application scope, promotion across environments, and release governance) and openness for agile ways of working; first touchpoint in IT Service Management is an advantage
- Proven ability to analyze and to resolve also complex problem statements, focusing on root cause analysis and preventive measures
- Practical experience in software development process (plan, build, test) and project management, combined with technical knowledge of web development technologies and tools
- Solid understanding of state-of-the-art integration such as REST, SOAP, webhooks paired with basic SAP solution exposure is beneficial for your application
- Fluency in English
