Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
As a Test Engineer – Automotive Microcontrollers, you will contribute to the development and production support for Automotive applications while having the possibility to increase your knowledge within the semiconductor industry.
- Analyze embedded NVM design and technology evaluating corner cases and robustness
- Generate test sequences and automatic testing machine patterns (e.g.: v93000 Advantest) for test program, validation and characterization
- Provide data analysis of test program to support quality delivered, test cost and yield
- Develop firmware for testing by translating concepts into firmware algorithms
- Be a firewall for embedded NVM testing concepts increasing the quality of deliverables
- Improve automation on development workflow to mitigate project complexity
Please note that we offer an external temporary contract of 1 year with potential renewal or future conversion into a permanent one directly with Infineon.
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
Your strong problem-solving skills enable you to efficiently analyze complex test data, debug failures, and pinpoint root causes, and your clear, effective communication helps you work across diverse teams, while your innovative, open-minded mindset means you thrive in collaborative environments.
- A Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a similar field of studies
- At least one year of experience as a Test Engineer would be preferred
- Experience in embedded programming (C language) and knowledge of scripting tools such as Perl, Python, etc.
- Automatic test equipment experience (e.g., v93000 Advantest) is a plus
- Knowledge of NVM architecture and technology is a plus
- Experience in data analysis and data crunching with basic knowledge of AI is a plus
- A proactive and flexible working style with fluency in English (mandatory)
