Your Role
This role involves developing and designing interactive dashboards, engaging with stakeholders, ensuring governance and quality, and driving strategic planning and innovation to create a robust data visualization and analytics capability.

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Shape the future: Create interactive dashboards using Tableau and design them for visual appeal and usability
• Data storytelling: Convert complex data into actionable insights through intuitive and visually appealing dashboards
• Keep up to date: Update and maintain existing dashboards, and implement new Tableau features and functionality
• Stakeholder management: Meet with stakeholders to understand their needs, and provide training and support on Tableau and dashboards
• Identify needs: Develop and implement data governance policies, and test and ensure dashboards meet requirements
• Thorough planning: Develop strategic plans for data visualization and analytics, and experiment with new tools and techniques to drive innovation and improvement

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Study field: Currently enrolled in a undergraduate or graduate program (preferability in humanities, social sciences, business, communications, etc.)
• Experience: Previous experience working with Tableau or other data visualization tools, and in creating interactive dashboards and presenting data insights to non-technical people
• Hard skills: Proficiency in Tableau as a developer (Desktop and Server), and familiarity with data structures and databases
• Soft skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively. Also, a strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Way of working: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines and collaborative mindset and ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Language skills: Fluency in English, both written and spoken. German is a plus

Important information:

• Working part-time: The focus is on studies. That’s why working as a student employee during lecture period is limited to a maximum of 20 hours per week.
• Proper students (according to the German law) are welcome: To work as a student employee with us, you must be enrolled at a university and not have completed all of your exams or modules for your degree programme. You must not be in a semester of leave. We look forward to welcoming you to our team for at least 6 months.
• You should live close to the site: For good collaboration, it is important to us that you can come to the office regularly to integrate to the team.
