Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- GenAI landscape: awareness of evolving GenAI landscape for software development and continuous evaluation of state-of-the-art GenAI and AI technologies to enhance Infineon\’s software engineering processes
- GenAI Tooling: implementation support for GenAI tooling to enhance productivity within internal team
- RAG Workflow Development: development and support of retrieval-augmented generation workflows with custom contexts using internal knowledge bases
- Infrastructure Implementation: implementation of infrastructure components to enable custom model and rag solution integration into existing GenAI solutions, supporting extensions and context plug-ins
- Automated Monitoring and derived Insights: development and maintenance of automated monitoring and dashboards to get insights into tool performance, adoption, and usage pattern insights
- Model Context Protocol Development: design, development, and deployment of model context protocol (MCP) servers o enable seamless integration of enterprise applications with GenAI tooling
- Agentic Workflow Development: development and deployment of agentic workflows to automate development tasks and enhance overall developer productivity
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- Study field: studies in Informatics with a focus on Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science or similar
- Skills: strong programming skills, particularly in Python, with experience in libraries and LLM frameworks such as llama and langchain. You also have knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems and the ability to implement efficient pipelines with it
- Experience: experienced in working with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift), and ability to set up workflows within these environments
- Skills: excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to effectively present findings to a variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Way of working: independent working style combined with strong team collaboration skills
- Language skills: very good English skills, both written and spoken; German is a plus

Important information:
- Working part-time: The focus is on studies. Therefore, working student is possible during the lecture period with a maximum of 20 hours per week.
- Proper students (according to the German law) are welcome: You must be enrolled, and the examination results or modules of your studies must not have been completed yet, so that you can still work in our team for at least 6 months. You must also not be in a semester of leave.
- You should live close to the site: It is important for us to work with you on site and to integrate you into the team. You should therefore be able to come to the site regularly.
