- State-of-the-art experiments: You support the team in performingmechanical stress tests, bending tests in particular, but alsonanoindentation or shear tests
- Keep up to date: You conduct the evaluation of these mechanical testsand write reports for the project leader
- Expand your horizons: You have the chance to show your initiative andcreativity by optimizing the laboratory equipment
- Shape the future: You improve the automation of data analysis of thecollected data within he measurements
- Be creative: You support the definition and planning of experimentsand experimental setups with mechanical finite-element simulations
Your Profile
- Study field: You are currently studying in the 5th semester of your engineering or natural sciences studies like physics, electrical engineering or materials science
- Experience: You already gained experience in working with the MS-Office applications
- Skills: You have programming skills in at least one language like: C++, Python or Excel Macro, and worked with finite-element simulation tools like Abaqus or Ansys
- Way of working: You possess the ability to improvise and like working in a team
- Language skills: You have fluent English skills, both written and spoken

Important information:
- Working part-time: The focus is on studies. Therefore, working student is possible during the lecture period with a maximum of 20 hours per week.
- Proper students (according to the German law) are welcome: You must be enrolled and the examination results or modules of your studies must not have been completed yet, so that you can still work in our team for at least 6 months. You must also not be in a semester of leave.
- You should live close to the site: It is important for us to work with you on site and to integrate you into the team. You should therefore be able to come to the site regularly.
