Overview
In this role you drive the architecture of Infineon’s next-generation MCU platform, aligning product capabilities with market needs. You work closely with cross-functional teams to translate insights into technical requirements and guide platform definition. Your impact spans strategy, architecture, and lifecycle activities, enabling scalable, integrated MCU solutions for power and IoT. The position offers a chance to shape platform ecosystems in a collaborative, inclusive environment.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Own the architecture for the next-generation MCU platform
- Define MCU product platform and feature set aligned with market requirements and business goals
- Collaborate with Technical Marketing and customers to define, refine, and validate use cases
- Translate market insights into clear product requirements and technical specifications
- Evaluate and prioritize change requests based on impact, feasibility, and strategic fit
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives to drive innovation across engineering
- Provide technical partnership and act as the point of contact during product development
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Master Degree in Electrical Engineering
- At least 6 years of experience in MCU, semiconductors, or embedded systems development
- Experience in product architecture, platform definition, or system engineering
- Knowledge of MCU architectures such as ARM Cortex, RISC-V, or similar
- Understanding of embedded software, peripherals, interfaces, and system integration
- Experience translating market and customer requirements into technical specifications and supporting product lifecycle management
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional stakeholders across engineering, marketing, and business teams with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strategic and systems-level thinking and project or technical leadership experience
- Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken); German would be a plus
