Overview
As Staff Specialist System Engineering on the Software & Data Science team, you will be the technical expert for Generative AI/LLM solutions and data integration. You will focus on RAG, chatbots, and AI agents, translating prototypes into production-grade systems. You will stay ahead of AI advances and weave them into our workflows while supporting operations and evolving deployments. This role combines hands-on AI work with production readiness, solving complex problems in a cutting-edge space. You’ll contribute to Infineon’s mission to advance green, digitalized solutions at scale.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Act as technical expert for Generative AI/LLM Solutions & Data Integration, with specialization in RAG, chatbots, and agentic systems
- Monitor and apply latest advancements in AI fields to improve workflows and solutions
- Turn prototypes into production-ready solutions with best practices for development and deployment
- Support operation of the solutions through troubleshooting, bug fixing, and implementing change requests to meet user requirements
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Bachelor or Master in Information Technology or Computer Science (minimum represented as Bachelor in Information Technology)
- Minimum 3 years of relevant AIML/Data Processing experience, including at least 1 year in LLM/Generative AI
- Hands-on experience with LLMs/Generative AI, Chatbots, RAG, or AI Agents (design, implementation)
- Know-how of Linux systems
- Extensive experience in Software Engineering & Development cycles (CI/CD) with Python
- Strong experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure), especially in data integration, RAG, agents, and/or chatbots
- Basic understanding of Kubernetes
- Valid work permit for Austria (RWR+ Card) or EU citizenship
