Overview
In this role you design and optimize IBC-based power modules within Infineon’s Power Systems division, translating customer needs into robust, scalable solutions. You will shape analog/digital circuits, magnetics, thermal, and EMI performance for high-efficiency, compliant power systems. You’ll interact with customers, lead design analyses, and drive cross-functional collaboration to enable reliable data-center power delivery and bi-directional capabilities. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Design, analyze, and optimize magnetics, thermal, and EMI of power systems for IBC modules
- Engage in analog and digital circuit design including loop compensation and current sharing with circuit simulations
- Develop and optimize data center power systems for fast transient and bi-directional loads
- Work with I2C/PMBus and processor protocols for integration
- Use Matlab, Simulink, C++, Python, MathCad, Mathematica for design and power system measurements
- Create and review schematics and apply advanced PCB layout techniques with safety compliance
- Develop manufacturing test metrics and ensure manufacturability from the start
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 6+ years in power solutions, especially power modules
- Strong knowledge of magnetics design, EMI, thermal design, and power electronics
- Extensive analog and digital circuit design experience, loop compensation and current sharing
- Expert in circuit simulation and PDN analysis
- Experience with fast transient loads and bidirectional power systems
- Proficiency in I2C/PMBus and processor protocols
- Advanced skills in Matlab, Simulink, C++, Python, MathCad, Mathematica; Allegro for schematic capture; strong PCB layout capabilities
- Proficiency in FEA/FEMM/Sonnet/CST
