Overview
In this role you shape the integration of wide bandgap power technologies to stabilize processes, improve yield, and reduce cost across global manufacturing. You work closely with development and transfer teams to drive ramp-ups, ownership of yield planning, and root-cause actions for deviations. You’ll optimize high-volume production with expert process and equipment know-how and guide production releases to meet quality standards. This position offers impact at scale in a leading power tech environment.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Apply advanced statistical methods and AI to support technology stabilization, yield improvement, and cost optimization across the global process chain
- Act as Front-End representative for WBG power tech development and transfer
- Drive and manage actions from technology ramp-up after official production release
- Take ownership of yield planning and continuous yield monitoring to meet targets
- Lead and participate in root cause analysis to define sustainable corrective and preventive actions
- Sustain and optimize high-volume production with expert process/equipment know-how with global partner fabs
- Execute release and delivery decisions for production goods aligning with quality/production standards
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Data Science, or comparable technical field
- Several years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing focusing on technology development, process, or yield engineering
- Technical expertise in Silicon or WBG technologies (SiC/GaN) and ramp-up experience in high-volume environments
- Advanced skills in statistical data analysis (SPC, DOE) and applying AI/ML for process optimization
- Structured, analytical mindset with ability to drive topics from analysis to implementation
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate across global teams
- Fluency in English; German is an advantage
