Overview
As a Senior Staff Engineer in Infineon’s R&D, you shape the future of power electronics products by defining specifications, driving concept development, and validating systems. You will translate customer needs into market-ready solutions and create technical collateral while supporting design-ins with customers. You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional teams to accelerate growth and improve satisfaction, contributing to decarbonization and digitalization goals.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Define technical specifications for future products from customer insights and market trends
- Develop innovative concepts for new products and services
- Perform product-to-system validation including hardware design, validation planning, and documentation
- Create technical collateral (application notes, whitepapers, training materials)
- Engage with customers to support design-ins and resolve technical challenges
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction
Zentrale Anforderungen
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the semiconductor power electronics market
- In-depth knowledge of power semiconductor technologies (wide-bandgap, discretes, modules, gate drivers)
- Familiarity with applications such as PV, EV chargers, UPS, ESS, AI data center power, and SSCB
- Excellent English skills and ability to manage stakeholders in a global organization
- Strong customer orientation and a proven track record of driving business growth
