Overview
In this role you will design, implement and sustain software for factory systems, collaborating with global teams to transform data into actionable insights. You will work within Infineon’s mission to enable decarbonization and digitalization through cutting-edge semiconductor solutions. The role combines development, testing, and IT operational support to ensure reliable, scalable processes in a manufacturing context. You will engage in cross-functional DevOps practices to deliver impact at scale.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Develop and maintain software specifications and write high-quality, scalable code in Perl or other scripting languages (e.g., Shell)
- Design, develop, and execute unit, integration, and system tests to ensure quality, security, and performance
- Provide IT operational support for Process Control Solutions and participate in 24/7 support rotation as required
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of software systems for performance and reliability
- Collaborate in cross-functional global teams and apply DevOps practices and methods
Zentrale Anforderungen
- A degree in Computer Engineering or a similar field of studies
- 2+ years of hands-on software development experience in Perl or other scripting languages in a Linux environment
- Proven track record of planning, designing, and implementing complex systems
- Knowledge of C# and Windows operating systems is a plus
- Proficiency in agile development methods
- Experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus but not mandatory
- Strong English communication skills
- Valid work permit for Austria (RWR+ Card) or EU citizenship
- Strong verbal and written communication in English
