AWS Network Engineer
Primary ObjectiveDesign, implement, and operate secure, high performance AWS networking, including hybrid connectivity with on premise and third party environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and configure AWS networking (VPCs, subnets, routing, gateways).
- Implement hybrid connectivity: Site to Site VPN, Client VPN, Direct Connect, VPC Peering, Transit Gateway.
- Manage routing, segmentation, and traffic flow across multiple accounts/regions.
- Configure and support network security controls (Security Groups, NACLs, firewalls).
- Troubleshoot performance, latency, and connectivity issues.
- Support hybrid/multi account network architectures.
- Collaborate with cloud architects, security teams, and operations.
Core Skills / Technologies
- AWS networking: VPC, Transit Gateway, Route Tables, NACLs, Security Groups.
- Hybrid connectivity: VPN, Direct Connect.
- DNS & traffic management: Route 53, load balancing concepts.
- Network security and segmentation.
- Monitoring and troubleshooting AWS network environments.
