Description
The Project Manager is responsible for managing ERP implementation projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring that all project requirements, timelines, and budgets are met. This role involves coordinating with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. The Project Manager ensures the successful delivery of projects by maintaining progress, mitigating risks, and providing regular updates on project status.
A Typical Day in the Life Includes:
- Manage ERP implementation projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
- Monitor project schedules, resources, and budgets, ensuring project deliverables meet client requirements
- Identify and address potential risks and issues to minimize delays and disruptions
- Coordinate with project teams to assign tasks, monitor progress, and resolve any obstacles
- Provide regular project status reports to clients and internal stakeholders
- Communicate effectively with clients to address concerns and ensure project alignment
- Assist in pre-sales activities when needed, supporting the identification of new opportunities
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience managing ERP implementation or software projects
- Experience with Agile or Waterfall project management methodologies
- Experience coordinating teams and ensuring project delivery within scope, budget, and timeline
Preferred Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
- PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials
- Experience with ERP systems and related business processes
