About the Role:

Octave’s Physical Security Team is seeking a Channel Sales Manager to drive growth across the German market through channel partners, system integrators, and strategic alliances.

This role is primarily focused on developing and expanding partner relationships, while also supporting key end-user opportunities. The successful candidate will play a critical role in executing the channel go-to-market strategy, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth for our cloud-based Video Management System (VMS) and SaaS solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, recruit, onboard, and enable new channel partners and system integrators across Germany.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing partners, consultants, and technology alliances.
  • Drive revenue growth through partner-led sales activities and joint business development initiatives.
  • Support partners throughout complex sales cycles and assist with strategic end-user opportunities when required.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for cloud-based VMS and SaaS solutions.
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting and maintain pipeline visibility through Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
  • Collaborate with marketing on industry events, campaigns, and partner-focused initiatives.
  • Work closely with product sales, pre-sales, and technical teams to deliver customer and partner success.
  • Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
  • Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and business value propositions to partners and customers.

Education / Qualifications

5+ years of experience selling enterprise software, SaaS, or cloud solutions through channel partners and system integrators.

Proven experience recruiting, developing, and managing channel partners.

Experience working with IT system integrators and partner ecosystems.

Strong business development and relationship management skills.

Native or fluent German language skills and professional English proficiency.

Experience managing complex sales opportunities and sales pipelines.

Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.

Willingness to travel 30–50% within Germany.

Preferred

  • Experience with Video Management Systems (VMS), Physical Security, Access Control, Video Analytics, or related technologies.
  • Experience selling into Transportation, Education, Utilities, Government, Safe City, or Enterprise organizations.
  • Experience working in a global organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Understanding of networking and video surveillance technologies.

Location

This is a remote role based in Germany. Candidates should be located within Germany.
