Overview
In this senior role you guide clients through modernizing legacy apps, cloud-native adoption, and ADM/SaaS sourcing. You lead cross-functional workstreams, shape transformation roadmaps, and run end-to-end sourcing programs with a focus on business value. You translate complex tech topics into clear business recommendations while coaching junior colleagues. You’ll work with ISG’s global teams to drive digital transformation and operational excellence for diverse clients.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Lead workstreams on application modernization, cloud-native adoption, SaaS transformation, and ADM sourcing
- Assess application portfolios, identify modernization opportunities, and shape transformation roadmaps
- Design sourcing strategies for ADM, agile development, SaaS, testing services, and digital product engineering
- Manage RfX processes: requirements, vendor evaluation, solution assessment, and negotiations
- Evaluate providers’ capabilities (cloud-native development, microservices, modernization accelerators, DevSecOps maturity)
- Facilitate executive workshops on strategy, modernization approaches, and sourcing options
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear business recommendations
- Coach junior consultants and ensure deliverable quality across workstreams
- Support thought leadership, proposal development, and enhancement of ISG’s app modernization and sourcing frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-border ISG teams across consulting, research, sourcing advisory, and benchmarking
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 5–8 years in management consulting, application services, software engineering strategy, ADM delivery, or technology sourcing
- Strong understanding of application architectures, SaaS platforms, cloud-native development, microservices, DevSecOps, testing frameworks, and legacy modernization
- Proven experience leading sourcing or transformation initiatives in the application domain
- Ability to engage senior IT and business stakeholders and articulate topics concisely
- Strong analytical and communication skills (German and English at C1+)
- Hands-on, structured approach and experience in agile, cross-functional teams
- Coaching or mentoring experience is a plus
