Overview
In this role you guide clients on designing and optimizing IT, cloud, and digital service environments. You will lead workstreams, shape end-to-end sourcing strategies, and mentor junior consultants, within a global team focused on digital transformation and performance improvements. You’ll leverage market data and AI-enabled insights to inform decisions and drive value realization. This position offers broad client exposure, international collaboration, and a clear growth path within ISG.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Lead client workstreams across sourcing and transformation programs (IT, cloud, applications, digital operations, managed services).
- Design sourcing strategies, build business cases, define requirements, and manage RfX from prep to evaluation and negotiation.
- Conduct vendor assessments and shape commercial/contractual models balancing value, cost, performance, and risk.
- Utilize ISG market data, benchmarks, and AI-supported analyses to inform client decisions.
- Facilitate workshops and present concise recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Provide structure, quality assurance, and coaching to junior team members.
- Collaborate with international ISG teams across consulting, benchmarking, research, and managed services.
- Contribute to proposals, thought leadership, and enhancement of ISG’s sourcing methodologies in DACH.
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 5–8 years in management consulting, technology sourcing, IT strategy, vendor/contract management, or related field.
- Proven experience leading aspects of sourcing or transformation initiatives (requirements definition, RfX development, supplier evaluation, commercial modeling, or contract negotiations).
- Strong understanding of IT operations, cloud concepts, digital services, and modern delivery models.
- Ability to engage senior stakeholders and translate technical topics into business recommendations.
- Structured, analytical thinker with strong German and English communication and presentation skills (C1+).
- Hands-on, proactive, and able to work independently and in international teams.
- Mentoring junior consultants is an advantage.
