Overview
As a senior management consultant, you will shape SAP S/4HANA transition sourcing. You’ll evaluate implementation partners, define tender strategies, and guide commercial and delivery risk decisions. Your work sits at the crossroads of SAP program strategy and sourcing, influencing partner selection and value realization. You’ll lead multi-stakeholder workstreams and contribute to ISG’s SAP methodologies. This role offers high-impact ECC-to-S/4HANA transformations with global collaboration and growth opportunities.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Lead client workstreams on sourcing implementation partners for ECC to SAP S/4HANA transitions
- Shape sourcing strategies covering SI selection, delivery and operating models, and commercial structures
- Manage end-to-end RfX processes: requirements, RFP design, vendor evaluation, solution assessments, and pricing
- Assess SAP S/4HANA implementation capabilities of global and regional SIs, including tools, accelerators, migration approaches, teams, and quality frameworks
- Analyze commercial proposals, benchmark rates, negotiate favorable terms
- Facilitate workshops on S/4HANA program readiness, partner selection, governance models, and transformation risks
- Support business cases, transition roadmaps, milestones, and partner onboarding
- Coach junior consultants and ensure high-quality deliverables in sourcing engagements
- Contribute to proposals, SAP thought leadership, and ISG methodologies for SAP and S/4 sourcing
- Collaborate with international ISG teams on large SAP transformation engagements
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 5–8 years of management consulting, SAP advisory, IT sourcing, or vendor/contract management experience
- Strong understanding of SAP ecosystems and ECC-to-S/4HANA transition challenges
- Proven experience running sourcing or vendor evaluation processes for SAP or other enterprise platforms
- Ability to assess SI methodologies, migration approaches, resource structures, testing/quality frameworks, and risk factors
- Strong commercial/analytical skills including rate benchmarks, TCO modeling, and contract structuring
- Confident engagement with CIOs, program directors, enterprise architects, and procurement leaders
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English (C1+)
