Senior Consultant - Master Data Governance (MDG) - Germany

About your role

As an MDG senior consultant, your role will include the following:

1. Support system/application owners and technical teams on topics around compliance, understand the data governance framework, and their relevance for the businesses.
2. Advise our clients on the data governance strategy that ensures quality, consistency, and security of the data.
3. Identify business cases for MDG which can positively contribute to the clients\‘ topline or cost reduction by achieving a single customer view.
4. Lead large teams comprising experts in different domains and technologies to provide a single point of contact for the client in terms of design, delivery, and support.
5. Visualize processes that can help us create client-specific offerings around data consolidation, data cleansing, and data governance.
6. Guide clients in selecting relevant technologies and showcase expertise in MDG, integrations, ERP, and CRM.
7. Support the security and reliability of data systems.

Requirements

• Have a broad business skill set including stakeholder management, problem-solving, and resilience.
• Experience in gathering, validating, synthesizing, documenting, and communicating data and information for various audiences.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong written and verbal communication skills in the country\’s official language(s) and English (C2 proficiency), with project-related mobility and willingness to travel.
• Be an application/domain expert, capable of leading workshops, working in a matrix team structure, and taking front-end roles at client locations.
• Ability to advise clients on MDG vision, data standards, and governance organization.
• Trusted advisor to implement and enhance data governance programs and roadmaps.
• Expertise in Master Data topics such as Finance, Customer, Supplier, and Material data.
• Enthusiastic about technology to complement business domain expertise.
• Extensive industry experience in CPG & Retail sectors.
• Consulting experience in SAP MDG or other MDG products, including design and delivery.
• Experience working with multicultural teams across multiple locations.
• Ability to manage business stakeholders, including change management and process improvements.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills with a sound technical understanding.
• Self-starter with excellent communication skills.
