As a solution architect for Supply Chain, you will participate in an end-to-end journey which includes
- Generating leads from your key customers based on consulting-based ideas
- Co-creating the next generation business models and business processes which give your clients that definitive edge over their competition or enable them to become undisputable cost leaders
- Synthesizing E2E processes running across planning, sales, procurement, manufacturing, warehousing, transportation, plant maintenance, customer service etc.
- Building solution roadmaps for your customers transformation journey riding on SAP best practices, solutions across S/4 Hana, SaaS products, LoB solutions, other products like SalesForce etc.
- Identifying opportunities for digitization and automation leveraging AI, Blockchain, IoT, RPA and other levers
- Participating in assessments, due diligences, transformation workshops

- Driving engagement directly with the business on the customer side and speaking their language

You will be supported in your endeavor by an A Team comprising of handpicked experts and leaders in your area from the globally available Infosys talent pool. As a leader and senior of the team, you will be responsible for mentoring the people who will work in your team or track, as well as their results. Your team will expect you to be a hands-on leader, completely approachable for them to understand their constraints and concerns in providing solutions, estimates or plan for their deliverables, completely reliable for solution reviews and transparent feedback for them to improve.
Knowledge / Skills required
- Experience with large scale SAP transformations and accompanying knowledge in implementation and rollout.
- Previous experience in working with diverse and multi-locational teams including offshore and near shore teams.
- S/4 certification in any of the areas like IBP, EWM, Transportation management, PP, QM, Enterprise Asset Maintenance, AATP, JIT / JIS, Kanban, Digital Manufacturing Cloud, Project systems etc.
- Familiarity with business process master list creation process and working knowledge of tools like Rational, Visio, Bic, Aris etc.
- Proven record of organizing and leading SAP best practices workshops
- High familiarity and experience with transformation and deployment methodologies like SAP Activate, SAFe Agile etc.
Preferred skills
- 5-6 successful SAP full cycle implementations or global plant rollouts as solution architect or process area lead
- Experience in working with location business managers as well as in-depth knowledge of business processes, roadmap definitions, fit-gap analysis and change management.
- Recognizable traits for people management including team mentoring and driving grounds-up innovation.
- Ability to drive consulting-based sales by identifying needs and proactively providing solution ideas which can be turned into projects
- Experience in proposal management, pre-sales and driving a sales pitch.
- Good analytical and logical problem-solving skills combined with the talent to quickly grasp new tasks.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Past domain experience of working in manufacturing, engineering, procurement, supply chain management etc. areas in the industry
