Overview
In this role you will drive the Databricks platform operations strategy for enterprise clients, enabling an AI-enabled operating model. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate client needs into scalable delivery plans, focusing on monitoring, automation, and service fulfillment across the Databricks ecosystem. You help define operating models, roadmaps, and governance to deliver measurable transformation outcomes. The opportunity combines cloud, AI-powered operations, and strong stakeholder leadership in a global consulting environment.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Lead Databricks Platform Operations and related transformation programs
- Oversee platform monitoring, incident management, and service fulfillment
- Drive automation initiatives and self-healing mechanisms
- Translate client requirements into scalable delivery plans and roadmaps
- Define operating models, KPIs, SLAs, and governance for platform operations
- Act as bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams
- Guide cross-functional teams to deliver strategic business outcomes
- Mentor and lead teams in observability, security, and governance practices
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 10+ years in Data & Analytics with Databricks Platform Operations and enterprise transformation
- Strong Databricks Platform Administration, Operations, Governance, Security, and Monitoring expertise
- Hands-on AWS and/or Azure, Terraform, and automation frameworks
- Experience with Incident Management, ITIL-based support models, and SRE practices
- Proven track record in large-scale transformation programs and delivery modernization
- Solid understanding of Data Lakehouse, Unity Catalog, clusters, jobs, and access management
- Ability to define roadmaps, KPIs, SLAs, and governance for platform ops
- Excellent stakeholder management, client-facing communication, and delivery leadership
- Experience building automation using Python, APIs, workflows, and self-healing mechanisms
- Knowledge of cloud security, governance, FinOps, and enterprise architectures
