Overview
In this role you drive SAP data migration initiatives within large ERP transformations, leading BODS/Syniti development and data quality governance. You’ll partner with business and technical teams to define migration objects and load approaches, while mentoring juniors and upholding migration standards. You’ll own cutover planning, issue resolution, and performance optimization to ensure smooth production loads. This position offers a chance to influence enterprise-wide data strategies in a globally respected consulting firm.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Lead data migration activities: extraction, cleansing, transformation, validation, mock loads, cutover support
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to define migration objects and load strategies
- Provide hands-on leadership in BODS/Syniti development, including job design, transformations, data quality checks, error handling, and performance tuning
- Govern data cleansing efforts, track defects, and report migration progress, risks, and dependencies to leadership
- Mentor junior team members; review deliverables to ensure adherence to standards and delivery quality
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Experience with data migration in large ERP/SAP transformation programs
- Strong hands-on SAP BODS (ETL development, transformations, loads)
- Strong knowledge of Syniti for migration orchestration and governance
- Experience in data cleansing, enrichment, standardization, deduplication, and validation
- Understanding of source-to-target mapping, transformation rules, reconciliation, and load sequencing
- Experience in mock cycles, dress rehearsals, cutover planning, and production load support
- Ability to analyze complex data issues and provide technical solutions for defects and bottlenecks
- Strong SQL and database skills with large data volumes
