Overview
As Principal Consultant, you drive SAP EWM engagements from business process definition to solution deployment, establishing architecture direction and guiding cross-functional teams. You’ll shape end-to-end SAP EWM solutions aligned with industry best practices, coordinate integrations with SAP modules and external systems, and lead client training and capability building. You contribute to pursuit efforts and stay ahead of SAP EWM developments to enhance warehouse operations at scale. This role offers impact across transformation initiatives and hands-on leadership in a dynamic, global client environment.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand warehouse management requirements
- Design end-to-end SAP EWM solutions leveraging best practices
- Lead SAP EWM implementation and ensure alignment with business processes
- Configure SAP EWM settings to meet operational needs
- Work with technical teams on custom developments and integrations
- Ensure integration of SAP EWM with SAP ERP, PP, QM, TM and external systems
- Design interfaces to connect SAP EWM with third-party logistics providers
- Continuously optimize SAP EWM processes for efficiency and performance
- Identify opportunities for automation in warehouse operations
- Create documentation for configurations, developments, and integrations
- Conduct end-user and support training
- Troubleshoot SAP EWM issues and coordinate with support teams
- Stay updated on SAP EWM developments and industry trends
- Evaluate and recommend new SAP EWM functionalities
- Experience in SAP EWM implementation and architecture
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- SAP EWM certification is a plus
- Preferred German Language
