Overview
As a Principal Consultant in SAP S/4HANA Finance, you design, implement, and optimize Finance processes within the S/4HANA landscape. You’ll lead finance streams, run workshops with stakeholders, and ensure best-practice financial solutions aligned to business goals. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end financial processes and integrations, while driving continuous improvement and adoption across the organization. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Lead the Finance Stream and run workshops with finance stakeholders
- Perform fit-gap analysis and document business requirements
- Advise on SAP S/4 best practices for Finance & Controlling
- Design end-to-end financial processes (GL, AP/AR, AA, CO, Bank, CO-PA, Product Costing, Financial Close & Reporting)
- Drive integration between Finance and other modules (MM, SD, PP, PS, EWM, SuccessFactors, Concur, Ariba, Treasury)
- Collaborate with ABAP team on WRICEF developments and interfaces (IDoc, BAPI, middleware)
- Prepare functional specs, configuration docs, test scripts, and training materials
- Support SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live, and hyper care activities
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to end-users and support teams
- Ensure change management and adoption
- Provide L3 support and solution enhancements post go-live
- Recommend improvements, automation opportunities, and process optimization
- Drive continuous improvement using analytics and KPI monitoring
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Must Have experience in SAP FICO including S/4HANA with at least 2 full-cycle SAP S/4 implementations
- Strong expertise in GL accounting, AP/AR, Asset accounting, Cost center & profit center accounting, Internal orders, CO-PA, Tax, FSCM (preferred), Treasury (optional)
- Strong understanding of S/4HANA architecture and finance data models
- Experience with Fiori, ACDOCA, Universal Journal, and embedded reporting
- Ability to write or review functional specs (WRICEF)
- Experience with integration technologies (IDoc, BAPI, OData)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving abilities
- Leadership in large/global teams
- SAP S/4HANA Finance Certification (Nice to Have)
- CA/CPA background (Nice to Have)
- Experience with Central Finance, Group Reporting, or Treasury (Nice to Have)
