Overview
As Senior Technology Architect, you will lead cost-optimized, secure hybrid cloud architectures across public, private, and on‑prem environments. You’ll drive FinOps strategy and governance, aligning platform designs with performance, security, and business outcomes. You will act as the technical authority for multi‑cloud platforms and work with product, engineering, finance, procurement, and executives. This role offers impact through scalable, vendor-agnostic solutions and governance-driven transformation.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Define hybrid and multi‑cloud target state architectures spanning public, private, and on‑prem data centers
- Lead design for networking, identity, storage, compute, automation, security, and observability across hybrid cloud platforms
- Architect cloud landing zones, guardrails, and shared services for secure, scalable, multi‑tenant operations
- Evaluate platforms (VMware, Anthos, OpenShift, Azure Arc, AWS Outposts, GCP Distributed Cloud) and define adoption patterns
- Ensure architectural decisions meet performance, resilience, cost efficiency, and vendor‑agnostic portability
- Own FinOps strategy, governance, and cultural adoption across engineering and operations teams
- Implement FinOps capabilities: cost allocation/chargeback, budgets, tagging standards, discount strategy, anomaly detection
- Develop cost‑efficient architectures including right‑sizing, autoscaling, egress optimization, and lifecycle policies
- Establish and lead the Cloud Cost Review Board with finance, procurement, and cloud operations
- Advise CxOs and finance on cloud cost models, ROI/TCO, and hybrid cloud strategy
- Translate complex technical decisions into business‑oriented outcomes and executive narratives
- Lead architecture review boards, govern standards, and coach engineering on FinOps best practices

- FinOps expertise with deep knowledge of core principles
- Experience with cost management tools: CloudHealth, Apptio, Flexera, AWS Cost Explorer, GCP Billing, Azure Cost Management
- Strong understanding of cloud pricing models, unit economics, and workload optimization
- Hybrid and multi‑cloud architecture experience (VMware, Anthos, Azure Arc, OpenShift, AWS Outposts)
- Experience designing and optimizing workloads across AWS, GCP, and Azure
- Knowledge of identity, networking, security, storage, Kubernetes, and distributed systems
- Knowledge of Zero Trust, cloud IAM, secrets management, encryption, and compliance
- Ability to engage with executives and translate technical decisions into business outcomes
- Leadership in global transformation programs
- Preferred: FinOps certifications; cloud architecture certifications; large-scale enterprise modernization experience
