Overview
In this role you lead SAP SD engagements, guiding business process definition through solution delivery for S/4 environments. You act as a thought leader on architecture, coordinate with offshore teams, and drive client-facing pursuits and capability building. You shape value-driven consulting solutions and ensure reliable delivery across the full project lifecycle. The focus is on delivering SAP SD solutions within a global transformation context.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Anchor the engagement from requirements to deployment and guide project processes and deliverables
- Advise on architecture and design reviews as a domain expert
- Coordinate with offshore teams and serve as the client–offshore communication bridge
- Lead business pursuit initiatives, client training, and in-house capability building
- Shape and deliver consulting solutions aligned with evolving client needs in a global landscape
- Manage stakeholder communications, project planning, and governance
- Perform root-cause analysis and drive continuous improvement across projects
- Oversee requirement gathering, estimation, resource planning, and delivery monitoring
- Ensure project quality management and adherence to Agile/Activate frameworks
Zentrale Anforderungen
- SAP SD with strong S/4 experience
- 2-3 end-to-end S/4 implementations
- Configuration experience (Org structure, Master data, Sales Document Type, Item Categories, Sales Pricing, Account Determination, SD outputs & Forms)
- Design and deployment of Special Procurement scenarios (Subcontracting, STO, Consignment)
- Strong integration knowledge with MM, FI, PP & QM
- EDI environment and IDoc processing experience
- Interface design with SAP/non-SAP systems
- Understanding of warehouse processes
- Project management experience as SAP SD Lead (planning, scheduling, governance)
- End-to-end project ownership from planning to deployment and hyper care
- Workshop planning, requirements gathering, estimation, and stakeholder sign-off
- Resource planning and cross-team coordination
