Role: Lead Consultant – AI

Technology: AI Governance, Responsible AI

Location: Berlin, Munich, Stuttgart, Germany

Compensation: Competitive (including bonus)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an AI Governance & Responsible AI Specialist with a strong background in AI governance, a deep understanding of responsible AI principles, and expertise in managing and developing AI-related projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in AI governance, knowledge of European Union regulations, and proficiency in multiple EU languages. You will ensure our AI projects align with ethical standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and oversee the implementation of Responsible AI principles across various AI projects.
2. Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with AI governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
3. Provide guidance on the ethical, legal, and societal implications of AI technologies.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop transparent and responsible AI solutions.
5. Monitor and evaluate AI system deployment to ensure adherence to governance protocols.
6. Develop and deliver training programs on responsible AI practices.
7. Stay updated with EU regulations, guidelines, and laws related to AI governance.
8. Serve as the primary contact for AI governance-related queries and issues.
9. Work with stakeholders to align AI solutions with business objectives while mitigating risks.
10. Contribute to AI ethics research, thought leadership, and industry forums.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Experience: Several years in AI governance, responsible AI, or a related field.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong understanding of Responsible AI principles such as fairness, accountability, transparency, and inclusivity.
• Experience with AI governance, compliance, and ethical standards.
• Solid background in AI project management from conception to deployment.
• Familiarity with EU regulations like GDPR and AI-specific legislation.
• Proficiency in at least one additional EU language besides English.

Education: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Ethics, Law, or related field (Master\’s preferred).

Certifications: Relevant certifications in AI, Ethics, Data Privacy, or Governance (e.g., Responsible AI certifications) are a plus.

Technical Skills: Knowledge of AI models, machine learning, data privacy concepts, and experience with AI tools/frameworks.

Soft Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, analytical mindset, attention to detail, and collaborative spirit.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in AI project lifecycle including design, development, and deployment.
• Knowledge of global AI governance trends and best practices.
• Experience working in multilingual and multicultural environments.
