Its multidisciplinary teams work collaboratively to deliver projects to the highest standards while supporting professional development and career progression. /ph3About the Role /h3pWe are seeking an experienced bQuality Manager /b to join a major engineering and construction project in Zurich, Switzerland. /ppThe successful candidate will lead the project quality function, implementing effective quality assurance and quality control systems, monitoring performance indicators and driving continuous improvement across project operations. You will work closely with project leadership, engineering teams, package managers and other stakeholders to ensure quality standards are consistently achieved throughout the construction and handover process. /ppThis role is suited to a proactive and strategic quality professional with extensive construction experience, strong leadership skills and a proven track record of managing quality on large-scale projects. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ullibQuality Management: /b Establish, implement and maintain project quality procedures, controls and systems to ensure compliance with project requirements and quality standards. /lilibHealth and Safety: /b Promote a safe working environment and lead by example, ensuring that safety standards are upheld across the quality team and wider project operations. /lilibQuality Assurance and Improvement: /b Lead the quality team in developing effective approaches to improve quality assurance coverage, strengthen processes and reduce recurring issues. /lilibQuality Performance Reporting: /b Monitor, analyse and publish weekly quality indicators, providing clear reports and recommendations to project management and key stakeholders. /lilibData Analysis and Continuous Improvement: /b Gather and evaluate quality feedback, identify trends and areas for improvement, and implement corrective and preventive measures. /lilibQuality Systems and Documentation: /b Ensure quality systems, procedures and documentation are accessible, up to date and understood by all relevant project personnel. /lilibTesting and Handover: /b Establish test packs and collaborate with package leads to ensure systems are tested, documented and ready for handover in line with project schedules. /lilibTeam Leadership: /b Manage, motivate and develop quality team members, setting clear expectations and maintaining accountability for performance. /lilibResource Planning: /b Forecast staffing requirements, agree team resource levels and ensure appropriate quality coverage throughout the project lifecycle. /lilibForward Planning: /b Maintain a rolling eight-week look-ahead plan to identify project constraints, monitor resolution progress and minimise potential delays. /lilibCross-Functional Collaboration: /b Work closely with engineering, construction and project management teams to ensure quality requirements are integrated into all stages of project delivery. /lilibLean Construction: /b Play an active role in the Lean Construction team, supporting efficient working practices and continuous improvement initiatives. /lilibAdditional Responsibilities: /b Undertake other duties associated with the role as required. /li /ulh3Requirements /h3ulliMinimum b10 years of relevant professional experience /b in quality management, quality assurance or quality control within construction or engineering. /liliA bachelor's or master's degree in Quality Assurance, Quality Control or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrable professional experience. /liliStrong understanding of quality management principles and the delivery requirements of large-scale, high-quality construction projects. /liliProven track record of leading quality teams and delivering measurable project outcomes. /liliStrong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate individuals, manage performance and promote accountability. /liliExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working across multidisciplinary project teams and organisational levels. /liliStrong strategic planning and practical execution capabilities. /liliExperience developing, implementing and monitoring quality procedures, reporting systems and performance metrics. /liliRelevant IT skills and confidence working with digital quality management systems and reporting tools. /liliAbility to identify risks, resolve issues and implement effective improvements in a fast-paced, deadline-driven project environment. /li /ulh3What We Offer /h3ulliThe opportunity to lead quality management on complex engineering and construction projects. /liliA collaborative, multidisciplinary working environment. /liliOpportunities for professional development, technical training and career progression. /liliExposure to innovative construction methods and continuous improvement practices. /liliThe opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects within an international engineering and construction environment. /li /ul #J-18808-Ljbffr
