Buyer
Position Summary: As a Technical Buyer (m/f/d), you actively contribute to managing the flow of materials and services within our company. You negotiate effectively with suppliers, secure the best terms and conditions, and ensure that our production operations are always optimally supplied. Your strong sense of quality, delivery performance, and cost efficiency makes you a key link between Purchasing, Production, and Logistics.
Your Responsibilities:
- You are responsible for sourcing technical products and services, from supplier identification through to contract negotiation and management
- You evaluate quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and make well-informed purchasing decisions
- You maintain and further develop supplier relationships, ensuring a collaborative and long-term partnership
- You plan and manage material requirements using our ERP system to ensure demand-driven procurement
- Together with Logistics and Production, you ensure a smooth and efficient flow of materials
- You monitor production and shipping schedules and regularly compare planned versus actual performance
- You support inventory counts and contribute to transparent purchasing KPIs and reporting
Your Qualifications:
- Ideally, a degree or vocational qualification in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- At least three years of professional experience
- Basic understanding of production processes, machinery, and materials
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and documentation
Key Competencies:
- Strong negotiation skills and knowledge of contract management
- Experience with ERP and inventory management systems
- Knowledge of capacity planning, resource management, and scheduling
