As an experienced Lead Software Architect, you will play a key role at our development site in Cluj. You will support our development teams in making important architecture, design, and technology decisions and, together with our cross-site architecture team, ensure the technical quality of our software solutions. You will combine strategic architecture work with active technical collaboration and coaching. Your goal: to continuously develop the architecture and engineering expertise of our teams in Cluj so that they can independently implement high-quality solutions that meet our architectural principles and quality standards.

You will:
- Establish our architectural principles and technical standards and ensure their consistent implementation
- Develop technical foundations, proofs of concept, and reference implementations, and contribute to our core SUCCESS frameworks and platform components
- Support development teams in architectural, design, and technology decisions, and assist with complex features from conception to implementation
- Conduct architecture, design, and code reviews, identify technical risks and architectural deviations, and drive appropriate corrective action
- Coach lead developers and developers and actively promote their technical and architectural development
- Work closely with product owners and software architects in Switzerland and further develop our cross-site architecture organization and the role of the software architect
You know:
- Software architecture, design patterns, domain-driven design, and modular enterprise applications
- C# and .NET, ideally with experience in Vue.js, TypeScript, or similar front-end technologies
- Web APIs, relational databases, Git, automated testing, and CI/CD
- Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code
- Architecture and modernization of large-scale, long-term software products and platforms
Your profile:
- Extensive experience as a Software Architect and Tech Lead Developer in complex software projects, including architectural responsibility across multiple components or development teams
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills, and the ability to quickly understand and technically assess extensive existing software systems
- High level of initiative and responsibility, as well as the ability to independently drive technical topics and consistently implement decisions
- Experience in technical reviews and coaching software developers, along with a strong hands-on mentality down to the code level
- Excellent German and English skills, and clear communication abilities that enable you to convincingly explain and defend technical decisions
- Willingness to travel frequently between Cluj and Aarau
- iSAQB® certification or equivalent qualification is an advantag
