Electrical Engineer (m/f/d)
As an Electrical Engineer (m/f/d), you will design and develop the electrical system technology for our innovative laser beam steering technologies: from precise sensor and actuator connections for ultra‑fast laser beam steering to mixed‑signal circuits and power electronics to real‑time capable controllers.
You will convert prototypes into series‑ready, EMC‑compliant modules, be responsible for layout and signal integrity, integrate suitable MCU/FPGA platforms and provide reliable power supply concepts for high‑power lasers.
- Your Tasks
- Design of circuits (e. g. with EPLAN) using sensors, drivers and control units in real‑time applications.
- Development of control systems for laser systems.
- Prototyping and testing (e. g. oscilloscope, logic analyser) to validate system reliability.
- Scaling strategies: optimisation for cost‑effective production and modularity.
- Interdisciplinary collaboration for fully integrated mechatronic solutions.
- Taking over the role of the responsible electrical engineer (VEFK) in accordance with German regulations.
- Your Qualifications And Skills
- Degree in electrical engineering or mechatronics (master’s/diploma) with a focus on power electronics, training/master craftsman/technician for electrical engineering/electronics.
- Professional experience in electronics development for optical or automation systems.
- Knowledge of safety engineering and standards (CE, Ro HS, EN ISO 13848).
- Expertise in scaling electronics to volume production.
- Hands‑on mentality, good English skills and ability to work in a team in an agile start‑up environment.
