Native Instruments (inMusic NI GmbH) is integrating into the inMusic Group, and we are looking for a Director, Commerce & Platform Experience to coordinate the commerce and platform integration and migration work during this transition. This is a fixed-term position for approximately six months, requiring an immediate start. No decision has been made about whether this scope will become a permanent role afterward. That will be assessed separately, at the latest by end of March 2027.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate and drive the cross-functional Commerce & Platform Experience integration and migration workstreams, including Shopify Migration, Account Unification, E-commerce & Account Experience, and Sound Discovery/Download & Installation Experience
- Represent Commerce & Platform Experience in the Senior Leadership, Strategy & Steering group for the NI/inMusic platform integration program
- Align timelines, dependencies and priorities across engineering, product and business stakeholders
- Ensure continuity of commerce and platform experience operations throughout the transition
- Partner closely with the Director, Platform Services and Applications and other Foundational Services leads
What We're Looking For
- At least 3 years of experience in a Director-level or equivalent senior leadership role
- Experience with Shop, Entitlement, Customer Identity and Customer Experience tooling is required
- Prior leadership experience in commerce, digital platforms, or customer experience functions
- A strong track record coordinating cross-functional programs in a complex, matrixed organization
- Familiarity with NI's and/or inMusic's business, systems and ongoing integration work is a plus
- Immediate availability
- Comfortable operating in a defined, time-limited mandate with clear deliverables
- Proven track record leading complex post-merger integrations (PMI) and platform consolidations
- Experience managing VP/C-level stakeholders across DACH/North America during org design changes
