Overview
In this role you will own electrical control hardware and system components for reciprocating gas engines, shaping specifications and validation for new products. You will lead wiring design and ensure compliance with international standards while collaborating with sales, service, and customers. You’ll drive failure investigations and deliver update solutions to maintain reliability. The position sits in an innovative, international environment focused on high-performance energy solutions. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Technical responsibility for electrical control hardware components and systems for reciprocating gas engines
- Establish component specifications for new products and define validation plan for inhouse and pilot testing
- Guide electrical design team and create wiring diagrams to meet EN, IEC, ISO, UL standards
- Prepare technical reports and documentation for sales, service and final customers
- Manage failure investigation and create update solution
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Technical higher school (HTL), Bachelors / master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Several years of experience in electrical control panel design, wiring design and selection of related electrical components including qualification and testing techniques
- Extensive knowledge of suppliers of electrical components (PLC, relays, circuit breakers, wiring, sensors, actors)
- Broad knowledge of quality systems (ISO), electrical standards (CE, IEC, UL), tools (EPLAN P8, ORACLE, Windchill) and techniques
- Project management skills with ability to handle multiple tasks and deliver results on time and on budget
- Fluent in German and English
