Finance Manager – Jenbach Factory Operations

In this role you are the Finance Manager responsible for oversight of the Jenbacher Factory Operations, based at the INNIO Headquarters in Jenbach, Austria. You will report to the Head of Operations and Sourcing Finance.

Jenbach is the largest site and lead factory of the INNIO group, producing gas engines and spare parts. You will coordinate the Finance team which supports the Jenbach Operations team and covers all financial processes relating to the Factory.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate & mentor the team covering the financial aspects of the factory, including shop floor related variable and fixed costs, inventory, standard costing and capex.

Work closely with the Jenbacher Operations leadership team, up to VP level, to drive and improve the planning, forecasting, and reporting of all elements of cost.

Key tasks:

• Coordinate period close activities in the Operations Finance area
• Approver of all related manual entries prepared by the team, mainly around the month & quarter closes. Reviewer of related periodic account reconciliations, requiring a high degree of attention to detail and accounting and process expertise. Contact point with the Accounting function for these areas, especially around period close cycles
• Coordinate planning cycle deliverables for the Operations Finance team
• Ensure input and usage of the INNIO planning tool is optimized for the financials of the Jenbach Factory Operations. This includes annual and quarterly plan and forecast updates, and also planning concept revisions as per business needs
• Key risk control gatekeeper; own the required internal control checks and sign-off where appropriate. Includes inventory valuations, physical counts, reserves etc
• Coordinate the annual standard cost update with the responsible Advanced Financial Analyst and Manufacturing Operations Analyst. Ensure the growth scenarios of the INNIO Group are adequately covered by the annual cost update, for example new entities linked to the Jenbach organization
• Point of contact within the team, and for other finance or business teams – advise or solve technical process issues, for example related to the ERP or accounting topics in the area of Operations Finance. Technical operational accounting and related Oracle ERP expertise a specific requirement

Your Profile:

• Bachelor/Master\’s degree in Finance/Accounting
• At least 10 years\‘ experience in a finance or accounting role, plus several years in leadership position
• Expert level understanding of accounting concepts, focus on manufacturing and costing
• Insistence on high standards in all aspects
• Excellent Excel skills, experienced with large sets of data. Business Intelligence skills advantageous
• Oracle/other ERP experience – costing and manufacturing processes as second nature
• Fluent English, German advantageous
• Flexible, proactive learner with a clear, problem-solving mindset who consistently meets deadlines.
• A valid work permit for Austria is a prerequisite for this position (Non-EU citizens: please attach the work permit to the application)
