European People & Culture Director (m/f/d)

Location: Frankfurt

As our European People & Culture Director, you are a member of the INNOCEAN management team, working closely with other departmental leaders as well as with the CEO, CFO, and COO on all aspects of people management. We are looking for an individual who genuinely loves working with other people, thrives in an international and creative environment, and can shoulder strong responsibility to ensure the People & Culture department is the beating heart of the company as it grows.

Your Tasks:

• Responsibility for the execution of operational and strategic HR activities of IWE with a focus on the Frankfurt and Berlin offices
• Providing proactive advice and guidance to senior management
• Supporting the People & Culture team in providing advice to all employees on HR-related issues
• Personnel planning and cost controlling, personnel succession, and risk planning
• Initiation, development, and management of recruitment activities, staff development, and performance appraisal
• Supervision of a 3-5 member team of different levels
• Handling and advising on legal issues
• Responsible for compensation & benefits, policies, and processes
• Updating and initiating an effective administration system
• Monitoring the monthly salary preparation

Your Profile & Personality:

• 8+ years\' experience in a senior HR role in an international environment, ideally in an advertising agency
• Bachelor\'s degree in human resources management or comparable training
• Good command of the full range of tools of modern human resources management
• Profound knowledge in German labor law
• Excellent management and negotiation skills
• Strong communication skills and a good understanding of different cultures
• Experienced in change management and recruiting/building a talent base
• Proven experience in the development and implementation of HR strategies
• Good combination of entrepreneurial and hands-on mentality
• Attention to employees\' potential, ensuring appraisal and mentoring
• Dynamic personality and talent to influence people with appreciation and enthusiasm
• Bright, courageous, and warm personality at ease with working daily with culturally diverse teams
• Loves a challenge, finds creative solutions to daily business demands, and copes well with rapid changes
• Highly organized and process-driven to “make it happen” with a good eye for detail
• Believes in putting people first
