As a Commissioning Engineer (m/f/d) with a strong focus on Electrical Balance of Plant, you\’ll work hands-on with cutting-edge technology, ensuring safe and reliable operation of the equipment as specified
Working places can be all around the world, including offshore locations
- Responsible for performing all commissioning activities for the assigned systems, ensuring safe and reliable operation of the equipment as specified
- Preparation of test procedures, documentation and revising/red marking of hardware drawings in close cooperation with the engineering department
- Commissioning of MV and LV Auxiliary Supply Systems, including power transformers, DC Chargers, Battery Systems, UPS Systems, Diesel Generator supply including Control and Protection systems
- Technical flawless and on-time preparation of tests under consideration of the required test utilities, as well as evaluation and verification of test results with respect to concept and functionality
- Support the commissioning manager in Quality, risk and claim management
- Degree in Electrical or engineering, Energy engineering or comparable technical education
- Good Knowledge and experience of electrical systems in the area of HV/MV/LV switchgear, transformers, CT/VTs, battery and UPS systems preferable on HVDC plants
- Proficiency in testing and commissioning of switchboards and electrical consumers, together with interlocks and protection
- Able to travel internationally; fluent in written and spoken English
- German language skills are an advantage
- Some positions require willingness for offshore locations, resp certifications according to GWO standards: Survival at Sea, Working at Height, HUET, …
