As a Commissioning Engineer (m/f/d)with a strong focus on DC protection, you\’ll work hands-on with cutting-edge technology, ensuring safe and reliable operation of the equipment as specified
Working places can be all around the world, including offshore locations
- Responsible for performing all commissioning activities for the assigned systems, ensuring safe and reliable operation of the equipment as specified
- Preparation of testing procedures and test programs for the Control & Protection Hardware, including the necessary verification documents
- Execution and documentation of Functional and Dynamic Performance Tests including customer acceptance ensuring proper energization
- Technically flawless commissioning of HVDC systems on site in due time,, including testing of associated converter protection on DC side
- Support the commissioning manager in Quality, risk and claim management
- Degree in Electrical or engineering, Energy engineering or comparable technical education
- Good Knowledge and commissioning experience for HVDC System in the area of High Voltage Systems, Closed Loop Control , Measuring, Protection and Communication
- Proficiency in control and protection technologies, including tools like MATLAB/SIMULINK, Siemens SIMATIC TDC/S7, CFC, protection relays & BCU (DIGSI / Siprotec V4/5)
- Able to travel internationally; fluent in written and spoken English
- German language skills are an advantage
- Some positions require willingness for offshore locations, resp certifications according to GWO standards: Survival at Sea, Working at Height, HUET, …
