Namaste! I am Manoj Nambiar and I’m originally from India. I lead the High Voltage and Power Converters division. We are a team of 25 experts, the majority of whom are from Switzerland, freelancers from around the world. We support clients worldwide in the field of engineering, project management, construction management and supervision, as well as commissioning. The Substation Brig and the Wikinger Wind Farm, Germany are just two examples from our wide project portfolio.
We want to strengthen our team with colleagues who are reliable and excel when working independently while also being team players who offer support when needed. Tasks
- You will be responsible for the commissioning of frequency converters and drive systems in power plants and at industrial facilities.
- You are responsible for the professional and timely execution on the construction site.
- You will have customer contact and exchange information with contractual partners and the head office.
- You will attend manufacturer-specific training courses to ensure that you are always up to date with the latest developments.
- Your new job will involve a high level of travel.
Requirements
- You have a degree as an engineer or technician in the field of electrical engineering.
- You have gained experience in the commissioning of electrical systems.
- Experience with medium voltage converters from well-known manufacturers (ABB / Siemens / GE / Converteam) is desirable.
- You are very independent and communicative.
- You speak and write very well in English; German is a big plus.
