SNSF-funded PhD position in lipid metabolism
Dysregulation of lipid metabolism plays a key role in development and progression of metabolic disorders including obesity, type 2 diabetes and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD). We are seeking a highly motivated and talented PhD candidate to join our multidisciplinary research team to investigate underlying mechanism associated to dysregulation of lipid metabolism in MASLD. The project aims to elucidate the mechanistic role of lipid signaling molecules in driving hepatic inflammation and fibrosis, and to identify novel therapeutic intervention.
