For people living with an intellectual disability and with them, insieme Switzerland, the umbrella organisation, is committed to an inclusive society. Advocacy, information work, public relations as well as services to its nearly 50 member associations are part of the activities of its secretariat.
As part of the development of its digital and editorial communication, insieme Switzerland is looking for
a Communication & Marketing intern at 60%
(Position limited to one year, starting as soon as possible)
Within the communication team, you contribute to the strategy and content production across all the organisation's channels. You participate in promoting the activities of insieme Switzerland and raising public awareness of the issues surrounding the inclusion of people living with an intellectual disability.
Your tasks
Content creation and management
Writing articles and briefs; Participating in the production of the insieme magazine, published three times a year; Uploading and updating content on the blog and website; Adapting content for different communication channels; Contributing to the creation of visual and multimedia content (photos, short videos, stories, carousels).
Social media and digital communication
Participating in social media management; Creating and scheduling posts; Monitoring interactions with online communities;
Newsletter, monitoring and follow-up
Media monitoring on topics related to intellectual disability and inclusion and identifying relevant subjects for the various channels; Assisting in the preparation and sending of newsletters; Participating in monitoring statistics (social media, blog, insieme.ch and newsletters);
Projects, events and marketing
Contributing to the promotion of projects, campaigns and events; Supporting the organisation of the annual meeting of regional association collaborators; Collaborating with member associations and the insieme network partners; Supporting the implementation of marketing and fundraising activities; Participating in the preparation of direct mail campaigns for donations; Conducting analyses and providing administrative support in the area of fundraising.
Your profile
Ongoing training in communication, marketing, journalism or a related field; Strong interest in inclusion and social issues; Excellent writing skills in French and good oral and written knowledge of German (min. B2); Comfortable with social media and digital tools; Creativity, autonomy and organisational skills; Knowledge of Canva, web CMS, newsletter tools or Meta Business Suite is an advantage;
We offer

Central workplace, in close proximity to Bern station. Fixed-term contract of one year, starting as soon as possible. Remuneration: 1,200 CHF at 60%.
