As a Network Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the final build-out and operational readiness of a newly completed data centre in Frankfurt.
You will be responsible for configuring, implementing and troubleshooting enterprise network infrastructure, with a particular focus on Cisco routing and switching, wireless networking, firewalls, and cloud-managed network solutions.
Working closely with infrastructure, systems and project teams, you will help deploy and optimise Cisco, Meraki and Aruba environments, ensure network performance and security, resolve complex connectivity issues, and support network upgrades and migrations.
This role requires a hands‑on engineer who is comfortable working in a fast‑paced data centre environment and contributing to the successful delivery of critical infrastructure projects.
- Must-Have Qualifications
- CCNP certification (current or recently held).
- Strong hands‑on experience with Cisco networking technologies, including routing and switching.
- Experience supporting enterprise wireless networking environments.
- Expertise with Cisco and/or Juniper firewalls.
- Experience administering Cisco Meraki environments.
- Experience supporting Aruba networking solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills within complex network environments.
- Experience working within data centre, infrastructure or large‑scale enterprise environments.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
- Ability to work on‑site in Frankfurt.
- Preferred Qualifications (Plusses)
- Experience supporting new data centre builds, migrations or commissioning projects.
- Additional certifications such as CCIE, JNCIP, JNCIA, or Aruba certifications.
- Experience with network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, Terraform, etc.).
- Knowledge of SD‑WAN technologies.
- Experience with cloud networking in Azure or AWS environments.
- Exposure to network security tools, NAC solutions, or Zero Trust architectures.
- Experience working within highly regulated or global enterprise organisations.
