We are seeking a skilled and experienced SAP Basis Consultant to join our dynamic team. As a SAP Basis Consultant, you will be responsible for the overall administration and support of our customer’s SAP systems, ensuring their stability, performance, and security.
Our client is a German company that develops SAP database and Java applications and serves clients from various industries.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
- Plan, implement, and maintain SAP Basis systems
- Perform SAP system upgrades and migrations
- Manage SAP system security and compliance
- Monitor SAP system performance and troubleshoot issues
- Provide technical support to SAP users
- Document SAP system configurations and procedures
To be successful, you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience as a SAP Basis Consultant
- Experience with SAP Basis administration, including system installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Experience with DB2
- Experience with OS Migration via SWPM from AIX to Linux
- Experience with optimizing Export / Import
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
