Requirements

Language: English - Fluent (C1)

• Demonstrated ownership of multi-market operations in footwear, fashion, consumer goods or another business with complex products, seasonal demand and external logistics partners.
• Strong knowledge of inventory, wholesale and ecommerce operations.
• Hands‑on experience managing 3PLs, freight partners and operational systems.
• Evidence that you have simplified processes and reduced exceptions rather than simply introducing more software.
• The judgment to distinguish a system problem from an ownership, process or data problem.
• The ability to move between strategy and detailed execution.
• Clear, concise communication with founders and functional owners.
• Fluent professional English. Another European language is useful.
• Availability to work primarily within European business hours, coordinate with US operations when needed, and travel within Europe and to the USA.

Activities

• Wholesale and D2C operational execution across Europe and the USA.
• Coordination between Sales, Finance, Product, factories, warehouses and logistics partners.
• Operational setup and data quality across our systems (Centra, Shopify, EDI, etc.)
• The order‑to‑cash flow, from order acceptance through fulfilment, invoicing and payment exceptions.
• Inventory accuracy, inbound and outbound logistics, freight, claims and 3PL performance.
• Practical procedures, service levels, controls and escalation paths.
• Serious order, shipment and quality incidents through root cause, ownership and evidenced closure.
• Building and managing the operations team, sized to volume.

Your first 90 days

• Take full ownership of day‑to‑day operations from day one, so founder involvement reduces from week one, not month six.
• Map the European and US order‑to‑cash, inventory and 3PL flows, with clear controls and named owners.
• Establish one operating queue for blocked orders, stock mismatches, claims, late shipments and payment exceptions.
• Define a short set of weekly operating measures and a concise founder report.
• Identify the workflows creating the most repeated founder intervention and transfer them into documented, owned processes.
• Define and begin building the required operational support structure.
• Produce a prioritized systems and automation roadmap covering Centra, Shopify, 3PL and finance handoffs.
• Stabilize the most consequential current exceptions before attempting large system changes.

Team

You will join as ADYRO's first dedicated operations leader.

You will design the operating model and personally close critical exceptions until the processes, controls and team are reliable. The role combines operating‑model design and strategy with hands‑on execution.

You will work directly with the founders and have genuine authority over how operations are built. As ADYRO enters new markets, adds retail partners and expands its product range, your scope and team will grow with the business.

How success will be measured

Success in this role has a simple test: the founders no longer need to touch operations. That means you own operations end to end across Europe and the USA. The outcome we care about is a business that runs smoothly because you built it to.
