Job Summary
We are seeking a Clinical Specialist / Territory Manager to support territory growth by partnering with healthcare professionals, including endocrinologists and diabetes care teams. The role focuses on delivering expert product education, clinical training, and driving adoption of Insulet’s diabetes solutions. You will build strong relationships within key accounts, increasing awareness and clinical confidence in the product portfolio. This is a field-based role combining clinical expertise with commercial impact to improve patient outcomes. Responsibilities
Consistently achieve sales objectives and ensure profitability within company guidelines. Develop, manage, and grow healthcare professional recommendations to achieve sales and market share growth. Expand business and brand loyalty within strategic accounts such as private practices, large diabetes clinics, hospital teaching institutions, and other major medical centers. Raise awareness and increase demand for Insulet products within the defined geographic territory. Collaborate with operational, quality, and customer service teams to coordinate professional contacts. Meet or exceed sales objectives and market‑share goals within the assigned area. Develop and maintain superior relationships with key diabetes decision makers and influencers. Implement customer loyalty initiatives and provide training programs. Demonstrate expertise in product knowledge, including competitive products and related data‑management software. Maintain a high profile with decision makers and professional diabetes organizations in the area. Routinely manage sales promotions and maintain budgetary compliance. Work effectively with commercial and corporate colleagues and execute field sales activities professionally. Complete administrative duties in a timely manner and within specified budgets. Perform other duties as assigned. Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree. Minimum 5 years of sales experience with a successful track record. Preferred Skills and Competencies
Prior sales experience in medical device and/or diabetes specialty. Demonstrated relationships with endocrinologists. Industry, clinical, and diabetes training experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong presentation skills. Ability to execute sales and marketing plans and manage territory budget. Ability to function in a fast‑paced, start‑up environment and result‑oriented. Team‑player experience dealing directly with health care professionals and people with diabetes. Proficiency with computers. Physical Requirements
Valid driver’s license and residence within the geographic area. Regular business travel by car within a set geographic region. Overnight travel 2–5 times per month; air travel varies by territory. Capacity to carry and transport sales samples and literature. Equal Employment Opportunity
