Development Engineer / Cost Estimator 100% (M/W/D)

WHAT ARE YOUR TASK IN THIS ROLE?

• Elaboration of budgets and budget estimates for technical sales
• Analysis of client\’s technical requirements and implementation
• Working closely together with ride designers and project engineers to share / achieve global technical understanding of ride systems – including estimation of relevant inputs for budgeting such as structure volume, motor sizing, power consumption, etc.
• Communication with suppliers to achieve required budgeting accuracy
• Elaboration of preliminary documentation / technical sketches for communication with customers, suppliers and other departments
• Further structuring and defining processes to establish future budget tasks; monitoring of price evolution of key components
• Support of sales department for the elaboration of technical proposals

WHAT DO YOU NEED FOR THIS ROLE?

• Completed training as a design engineer / project manager or completed studies in the field of Mechanical or construction engineering (Bachelor or Master Engineer)
• 3-5 years of design or project management experience after training/studies, preferably in the field of mechanical engineering, plant, crane and vehicle construction
• Good 3D knowledge, SolidEdge etc. and good 2D knowledge, Autocad etc.
• Experience in price calculation and ability to estimate cost
• German and English language skills at an International professional level
• Independent, reliable way of working, initiative and flexibility
• Good coordination and communication skills
• FL/CH/EWR/EU nationality or residency permit within EU/CH.
