Proposal Engineer

As an internationally operating company, we are looking for a Proposal Engineer for our solar power plants in Germany.

Your Tasks:

• Ensure collaboration and effective coordination to meet project deadlines and goals
• Review tender information received from clients, clarify bid conditions, and implement the tender preparation process
• Participate in Go/No-Go decisions for projects and support the BD team in bid submission
• Prepare technical information and drafts for accurate cost estimation
• Monitor cost and price calculations, ensuring their accuracy and compliance with bid requirements
• Coordinate with internal departments to exchange, gather, and review essential information for bid preparation
• Support the BD team in customer negotiations and participate in internal approval processes for bids
• Optimize bid content and presentation through strong writing skills
• Evaluate bid-related information to contribute to continuous process improvement

Your Profile:

• At least 2 years of experience in tender preparation or as a design engineer in the field of photovoltaics
• Sc. in Engineering, Civil Engineering, or equivalent degrees
• Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken; additional language skills are advantageous
• Analytical thinker with problem-solving abilities and a preference for detail-oriented work
• Effective collaboration with multicultural teams and excellent communication skills
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Understanding of tender rules and processes
• Experience in reading electrical schematics and using AutoCAD
• Practical knowledge in PVsyst is desirable
• Proficient in MS Office
